Meet the staff of Blue Movie Guide, the adult industry's answer to Variety. From covering actual porn shoots to reviewing tapes to suffering through the most ludicrous editorial meetings ever to plague a group of journalists, the editors at BMG muddle through it while trying to keep their egos intact. Like porn's answer to the Island of Misfit Toys, the warped malcontents at BMG stave off inner turmoil (like the magazine's philandering, manic publisher) and external attacks (mostly from video producers pissed off over bad reviews) by clutching to their individuality like a drowning man clinging to a rapidly-sinking raft. After all, porn is a dirty job, but somebody's gotta do it.
