A fount of (useless) knowledge and the seat of all wisdom, Arthur literally knows everything, and takes every possible opportunity to prove it with an incredible lack of humility. His Walter Mitty-like inner life is deliciously deluded, making for a sometimes sad and sometimes hysterical contrast with reality.
