Bryn Pryor comes from Arizona, where it really does get hotter than you can possibly imagine in late July. He walked away from a successful acting career in Phoenix to become a total unknown in L.A., one example of the kind of downward mobility with which Bryn seems to be most comfortable. Three years ago, he produced, directed and acted in the 35mm independent film Poker, which just got back from a fantastic screening at the 2000 IFFM in New York. Now he's producing, directing and acting in a MiniDV series shot for the Internet. Next year he hopes to make some line drawings on an old Etch-A-Sketch and show them around on Santa Monica Boulevard.
