Actress-writer-yoga teacher Melanie Lora migrated west from Charleston, South Carolina several years ago, receiving her BFA in acting from the University of Southern California School of Theatre. Her L.A. stage credits include lead and supporting roles in Marat Sade at Theatre of NOTE, An Antigone Story with Cornerstone Theatre Co., and Foursome and Moscow for The Actors' Gang.

Film and television appearances include lead roles in Fox Searchlab's The Eleventh Hour, Zero Pictures' Self Storage, and Gary Logan's Adrift; Melanie has also been featured in Three Steps West Productions' Juggling, and in The Westmores, for American Movie Classics.
