Joy was born in Hollywood, California and as far as her mother was concerned was destined to be a star. As a child she played a citizen of Emerald City in The Wizard of Oz and blew away a church audience when she lip-synced to a re-enactment of Olivia Newton-John's Physical video winning her fourth grade Talent Show. Since then she has been seen as an extra on the blockbuster hits Valley Girl, Earth Girls Are Easy and BASEketball.

Even though she successfully graduated from the Barbazon School of Modeling (don't just look like a model, act like one) her career is in graphic design. However, she's also a writer and photographer and would gladly give it all up to have a job where she's required to handle firearms.

Her lifetime goals is to star in a feminine hygiene commercial where she gets to ask someone if they ever get that not so fresh feeling. And to one day marry Eddie Vedder, lead singer of Pearl Jam, and to bear all of his children in a ranch style house in Seattle. When she dies she wants to be cremated and have her ashes spread over Disneyland, the happiest place on earth.
