Ashley Kennedy
is The Keigel Cannon Born 32 years ago on a trans-Atlantic flight in turbulent skies, Ashley "The Fearless" Kennedy is the daughter of an opium-smoking prostitute and a famous Ocarina player. Despite being sold for a paltry sum at the age of 10 to a band of abusive French gypsies, Fearless went on to pay her way through college by stripping and selling LSD, and is now an allegedly infamous, albeit flaky, journalist who speaks five languages. She has written for Larry Flynt Publications, AVN, New Times, Gambit Weekly, and a bunch of other crap not worth mentioning. She is currently the California correspondent for High Times magazine, despite the fact that she lives in her hometown of New Orleans, an economically depressed city full of lazy alcoholics in denial. When she isn't planning massive protests, dragging her seven-year-old son all over the world to attend hippie gatherings, or sitting in bed naked with a laptop and a joint while interviewing victims of the Drug War and DEA officials (no, it is a real job, damn it), she pursues her hobbies of masturbation and plotting the overthrow of the Evil Regime of George W. Bush. Her current projects include sewing a hemp gown for her impending witchcraft wedding to a well-endowed fugitive pot farmer, and starting a non-profit, nationally-distributed publication with the same distribution system as the U.K.'s best-selling magazine, The Big Issue. She plans to call the publication "It" just so that she can say she finally made it, and that if you don't like it, you can shove it up your ass.
